Transplanted in Fayetteville almost 40 years ago from New York, I have always considered myself a "Fayetteville Native". After briefly living in Orlando, Houston, and Oklahoma City, I can't imagine why anyone would want to live anywhere but Northwest Arkansas!
I live in Fayetteville with my husband, Hayden, and our kids, Taylor and Spencer. We have a very large extended family between the Crockett's and the Belt's. We enjoy spending time together swimming, boating and fishing on Beaver Lake. We love watching Arkansas Razorbacks sports. Hayden's dad, Bobby Crockett, played football on the 1964 team, which was undefeated.
I have recently attempted to learn more about how to do some "old fashioned" things like canning and bread making. I've made strawberry and blueberry jams. But my favorite so far has been making peach preserves from the Fayetteville Farmers Market peaches.
