Northwest
Arkansas Things to Do
As Northwest Arkansas has grown, so too has our cultural and
entertainment amenities - just as you would find in a much larger
Metropolitan area. Museums, art gallery's, crafts fairs, live
musical entertainment, theater performance venues, professional
league baseball - it's all here in our backyard. NWA is
getting ready to host professional-league baseball with the 2008
grand opening of the NWA Naturals baseball stadium. The
Crystal Bridges Art Museum will welcome visitors from throughout the
world to enjoy world-class artwork in 2009. Military parks and
the newly opened Veteran's Wall of Honor remind visitors and
residents alike of the history within our region. The recently
renovated Clinton House Museum was home to former President Bill and Hillary Clinton
during their days at the University of Arkansas. The Daisy Airgun Museum celebrates the history of Daisy Manufacturing and the
world-renown Daisy BB gun!
Fall in the Ozarks is awash in vibrant colors, which is also when
NWA hosts a region-full of craft fairs. The third
week-end of October brings hundreds of thousands of visitors to NWA
who flock to arts & crafts fairs located throughout the region.
One of the oldest and largest,
War Eagle Farms Fair, is well known for the quality and
uniqueness of the handmade wares offered. The
Bella Vista
Arts & Crafts Festival is celebrating its' 40th Annual fair,
featuring approx. 300 artisans.
The Bikes Blues &
Barbecue the fastest growing motorcycle rally in the Country,
has grown to welcome over 300,000 visitors during their annual
motorcycle festival, held annually in Fayetteville in October,
