The history of Siloam Springs dates back to 1835. The town went from being a
prominent Cherokee trading post to home of the Southwestern Collegiate
Institute, later changed to the John E. Brown University
with over 1,900 students, from 40 nations and 43 states, fully accredited as a
four-year college. Today, Siloam Springs is a growing, vibrant community,
situated just minutes from all of Northwest Arkansas. Our City boasts a
strong manufacturing community, including
DaySpring, the World's largest Christian greeting card company. Superb
medical facilities, restaurants, shopping, and charming Twin Springs Park, with
its fountains, foot bridges, gazebos and green space along scenic Sager Creek in
Historic Downtown. Recreational activities include the Family Aquatic
Center, numerous spacious parks with playground facilities, and for the golf
enthusiast, Siloam Springs offers Thunderbird Golf Club at Dawn Hill (a
semi-private course) and the Siloam Springs Country Club (a public course).
