Bella Vista is a growing community with a population of approximately 17,000 people, located in the far northwest corner of Northwest Arkansas, surrounded by extensive hardwood forests providing space and privacy to home owners.  Originally developed as a planned recreational retirement community, residents recently voted to unincorporate, and the Town is now under the direction of a Mayor/City Council form of government.  Monthly assessment dues allow the POA to maintain and develop the common grounds, as well as all of the recreational amenities that are part of this community.  The population is a vibrant mix of retirees, as well as young families looking for a quality, affordable, active lifestyle.  Bella Vista is home to seven golf courses, eight lakes, four recreation centers, a marina and yacht club, a gun range, and a miniature golf course.
